Top tips on FREE marketing.

The ongoing Covid-19 crisis has had a huge effect on business around the world, leaving many of us trying to think of new ways to drum up interest in these trying times.

One guaranteed way to get more business is by advertising – for free – on social media, and here’s a few tips from the team at Ova8 to help.

  1. Look out for any community groups in our local area on Facebook. As well as posting links and details of your window cleaning business, make sure you like and comment on other posts in the group too, as it will help with the algorithm, and make your posts more visible.
  2. Branch out into Twitter and Instagram. Does your window cleaning business have something unique to offer? Then head to the photo-sharing app Instagram. Does your customer have a nice front door, or an adorable pet? Ask if you can take a picture, and upload it along with pictures of their now sparkling windows, and add hashtags to get more people viewing your post and profile.
  3. Offer special discounts, or deals, to Facebook customers.
  4. Create your own business page on Facebook, and invite reviews. If you have the time, reply to them, or reach out and thank them for leaving a review, as they’ll be more likely to use your services again.
  5. Keep it light. Try not to involve your business page in spats in comments on community posts on Facebook, as potential customers may be put off.
  6. For Commercial providers look no further than LinkedIn. You will need to spend time networking and joining groups and participating to get yourself noticed. You will see results coming through but be patient.
